新报告显示，在生活工作节奏极快的新加坡、香港，旅行者们喜爱用旅行对比网站来为其节省计划旅行的时间。
在一份由旅行搜索引擎Kayak和GoBear共同发布的报告里，比较了保险、银行产品，并发现42%的香港、新加坡受访者会前往旅行对比网站，作为其计划旅行的第一步，主要的原因是其带来的便捷和便利。
价格透明是另一个关键因素，71%受访者表示，价格是其在选择航空公司时所考虑的最先因素。
该份调查还发现，平均看来，新加坡、香港的旅客在购买旅行产品前，会比较4个网站的数据。另外18%的受访者表示，他们会在购买前比较6个或更多的旅行网站，其中2%会比较超过11个网站。
另外，超过51%的受访者表示，安全因素是他们的首要考虑因素，虽然新加坡民众在对此的考虑上超过了香港。航班延误则是受访者公认的旅途中最让他们抓狂的一个因素。
大部分不同年龄的受访者还表示，他们会用整个旅行经费的5%花费在保险上。
