Pullman Bangkok King Power, which became the world’s first Pullman hotel when it opened in 2007, has completed a major renovation project.
The downtown property has revamped its public areas, facilities and all 354 rooms and suites, in an comprehensive project that features some of the brand’s latest concepts.
These include “The Junction”, the hotel’s new open lobby area which comprises three areas: “Welcoming”, “Meeting” and “Food & Beverage”. The latter includes a cafe serving sweet and savoury dishes, which transforms into a lounge in the evening.
The 354 rooms now cover four categories, including 18 brand new deluxe rooms which offer private balconies overlooking the hotel’s gardens or swimming pool. All rooms at the hotel now feature free Wi-Fi with music connectivity, LED smart TVs, USB charging points, tea & coffee making facilities, rain showers and bathtubs. For premium guests, the hotel’s Pullman Executive Lounge has also been upgraded.
The hotel’s five restaurants and bars have also been completely redesigned. These include the Glen Bar, which reopens in a newly-constructed mezzanine space, and the Cuisine Unplugged restaurant which has launched a new organic dining concept with live cooking stations.
Finally, the Pullman Bangkok King Power’s 600m² of meeting space has been updated, with new technology, an open kitchen and car entrance for vehicle exhibitions.
“The renovation of Pullman Bangkok King Power presented an unprecedented challenge but the result is simply stunning,” said GM Marc Begassat. “From the initial design to the final construction process, our team has focused on every minute detail to ensure that the service, room amenities and food and beverage facilities – well, in fact, everything – is impeccably presented to satisfy every guest’s individual lifestyle.”
Pullman Bangkok King Power is located next to the King Power Duty Free Downtown Complex.
