ibis budget has introduced its new bedroom concept, the Nest Room.
The contemporary rooms come in six new colourways, inspired by the changing seasons, for an experience that ibis claims is unique in the budget segment.
The clever layout is designed with ultimate flexibility in mind and can be configured in 10 different ways – including two family rooms.
Each configuration features generous-sized beds. Old bunks have been replaced by a double bed and an additional pull-down bed, equipped with ibis budget’s bedding concept SweetBed by ibis budget.
With the bed as a key element of the new layout, each room can be set up to suit the time of day and the individual needs of the guest, who can personalise their environment by positioning the pillows in multiple configurations.
As well as free high-speed fibre Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV and reading lights, Nest Rooms incorporate smart storage solutions like a built-in coatrack that blends seamlessly into the décor and a bed height that leaves room to slide a suitcase underneath. The styling of the room combines premium materials and textures, which offer a softer and more inviting experience for hotel guests.

The Nest Room concept will initially roll out in 110 rooms at ibis budget London Whitechapel – Bricklane, followed by 143 rooms in ibis budget London Luton Airport. The concept will then be gradually integrated across the chain as renovations and new buildings come on-stream. All establishments offer rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility, in line with their country’s legal requirement.
