Ahead of the Singapore MICE Forum 2017, SACEOS Marketing Communications Committee chairperson, Rosalind Ng, has appointed El Kwang of Biz Events Asia as the co-chairperson alongside a newly-minted committee to realign and rejuvenate the Association’s outreach and engagement with the business events industry and beyond.
President of SACEOS, Janet Tan-Collis, said; “The theme for the Singapore MICE Forum this year – re:imagine #EngagE – is timely, reflecting a bold paradigm shift by SACEOS to deploy an intergenerational and integrated marketing communications strategic approach. We are delighted that these cross-generation talents are working together, sharing expertise from their respective disciplines, providing timely advice and forward-thinking insights. It really affirms that our industry is supported by talent from different specialisations. This approach will enhance our focus on advocacy, education and professionalisation efforts as we prepare to launch our new website this quarter.”

The new marketing communications committee will make their debut at the Singapore MICE Forum held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands on Thursday, July 27, and Friday, July 28, 2017. Forum participants will experience a new approach dedicated to different industry skill sets across 12 breakout sessions. Sellers can expect to network with international buyers from the Asia Business Networking programme as well as industry thought leaders flown in by PCMA.
