Hurtigruten, the adventure travel brand, has revealed a restructure of its UK sales team in a bid to increase awareness of Hurtigruten amongst trade and consumers in the UK.
The team will be tasked with; increasing direct national sales across all products particularly explorer, encouraging growth amongst key partners, arranging trade and consumer events and running training sessions to educate on the Hurtigruten proposition.
The restructure also opens up a new role on the team. The position of National Sales Hunter is yet to be announced, but the role will focus on looking at new ways to encourage trade and consumer leads.
The full list of new appointments includes:
National Explorer Manager: Danny Giles
Role: To increase national sales on all explorer products with new routes to market as well as increasing sales from our current partners. Danny will also offer in-depth training from his extensive destination experience.
National Key Accounts Manager: Mark Walter
Role: To continue the growth of Hurtigruten’s key partners and to improve relationships with national partners on all products.
National Events & Sales Manager: Maria Ersmarker
Role: To build and execute trade and consumer events on a national basis including training, experiences and presentations. In addition to continue developing strong sales from key specialist and partners.
Third-party, MICE & Group Sales Specialist: Emma Coombs
Role: To source and increase sales via new routes to market via specialist groups, third-party association and MICE partnerships.
Inside Sales: Katie Leigh
Role: To support the team and partners in growing all sales channels.
National Sales Hunter: to be announced shortly
Role: To develop all new routes to market from trade and consumer leads.
