Denver-based international immersive events company MOXIE Luxe is kicking off a new season of extraordinary immersive experiences with Ordinary World on Saturday. The events, which will take place over the coming months, are unique affairs, allowing you to engage with the show itself by interacting with its dancers, performers and aerialists while sipping cocktails and sampling some of the city’s best cuisine.

MOXIE Luxe founder Kara Duepre, who specializes in events where the guests are guided into the “artistic unknown and the weirdly wonderful,” says Ordinary World, which will be held at Mile High Station, will transport guests into the artistic unknown and weirdly wonderful.

“MOXIE Luxe was created to offer experiences where people can let go of the familiar and the ho-hum,” said Duepre. “Whether they want to be fully involved or just sit back in take it all in, these events will be unlike anything they’ve ever experienced before.”

Ordinary World will be anything but ordinary, offering a sense of anticipation and excitement as you follow directions that lead to different experiences throughout the venue — watch Katherine Crockett perform “Angel” by Massive Attack in one space and Ukoiya Mastin perform “Something Just Like This” remixed by Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike in another.

Ordinary World general admission tickets are $75, and include:

A portion of proceeds from the MOXIE Luxe Ordinary World event will directly benefit The Matthew Shepard Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers individuals to create change and address hate that lives within their schools, neighborhoods and homes. The foundation’s mission is to “erase hate by replacing it with understanding, compassion and acceptance.”

Following Ordinary World, MOXIE Luxe plans to host a winter-themed party as its next event, and attendees of the Ordinary World event will be given the opportunity to vote on their favorite theme, with the winning theme announced at the end of the Ordinary World event.
