Aeromexico recently celebrated five years of its service flying between London and Mexico City.
Guest gathered at a lunch and networking event at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London where they heard more about the service and the airline.
Operations on the London to Mexico City route began in 2012 with three flights per week, increasing service to six weekly flights in 2017, and now offers a daily non-stop service between the two countries since May 2017.
Flights depart out of Heathrow Terminal 4 in London and Terminal 2 in Mexico City.
The route is operated with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and a 2-2-2 seat configuration in its Clase Premier cabin (business class) with 32 seats all of which recline into full-flat beds, plus 211 Economy class seats.
The airline also offers a complimentary chauffeur service option for Clase Premier customers travelling to and from Heathrow Airport.
Today, the airline offers 44 destinations in Mexico, 23 in United States, 15 in Latinamerica, 4 in Canada, 4 in Europa and 3 in Asia.

Speaking with Travel Daily at the event, Paul Verhagen, senior VP international sales, said: “We are extremely proud of what has been achieved on the London to Mexico City route from three times weekly to a daily non-stop service. We are the market leader between London and Mexico if the success continues, the next logical step will be to add further capacity to London and bigger aircraft.”
