First up, the airline has narrowed the time it takes to reach Nha Trang to Da Nang, and vice versa, to just sixty minutes with the introduction of a new route between the two burgeoning coastal destinations. With flights of about an hour long, the Nha Trang-to-Da Nang route recently started making travelling between these two coastal towns a fast and simple matter for locals, while providing a flexible route for tourists to hop easily between the towns and make the most of their time in the region.

The inaugural flight took place a couple of weeks ago on 21 September, when the airline surprised its passengers with commemorative presents to mark the maiden journey.

Additionally, another new route, from the unspoilt island of Phu Quoc to the South Korean capital of Seoul, will broaden the airlines network even further in time for the Christmas and new New Year holiday period, with its first scheduled, five and a half hour flight slated for 22 December 2018.

Subsidiary, Thai Vietjet will be bolstering its product with a daily service from Bangkok to the seaside city of Da Nang, in Vietnam as of 15 October this year. As well as beginning ops on the new Bangkok – Taichung service, which will run five times a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 3 November 2018.

Currently, Vietjet operates 60 A320, A321 aircraft with more than 385 flights daily, carrying more than 60 million passengers up to date, with 94 routes covering destinations in Vietnam as well as international destinations such as Japan, Hongkong, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and Cambodia.
