Hotel management group Central Hotels continues its growth momentum with the addition of two new five-star hotels in the UAE.
Looking ahead with optimism, Central Hotels has expanded its presence in Dubai with two new five-star properties — Canal Central Hotel Business Bay and Royal Central Hotel The Palm. The group has been operating with success since the opening of its flagship property First Central Hotel Suites in Barsha Heights. It is now poised to expand its footprint targeting the UAE as the primary market for growth in addition to other lucrative destinations in the Middle East.
“Demand drivers for Dubai hotels remain strong”
Ammar Kanaan, group general manager of Central Hotels, said: “We are driving momentum at each of our hotels which are all performing well and expect to deliver 2% RevPAR growth in 2019 at a group level. In addition, we are looking at a 10% increase over our existing inventory of rooms with the opening of an upcoming property in Dubai shortly.
“We are confident about the outlook for 2019 and expect the market to be stable as the demand drivers for Dubai hotels remain strong.”
In order to boost profitability and optimise revenue, Central Hotels has implemented a series of strategic cost-saving measures, incremental revenue streams as well as group efficiency programmes for optimum deployment of resources.
According to the Kanaan, feedback from guests is also ‘extremely valuable’. Therefore, the group has installed systems for establishing direct contact with guests staying at the hotel, as well as launched an exclusive loyalty programme to reward return customers.
“Continuous progress”
Kanaan further added: “We have been making continuous progress at our hotels that is the outcome of hard work and dedication of our team members and we want to thank them for their commitment. Be it for leisure or business travellers, we are focused on delivering a high level of service to our guests in order to deliver memorable experiences.”
Central Hotels’ upcoming properties also include Central House Citywalk, which will be focused on millennials, Beach Central The Palm, Diamond Central – Business Bay, and Island Central in Dubai.
