Air France is expanding its Indian network to include Chennai with thrice weekly direct services to Paris Charles de Gaulle starting 14 June 2020, opening more opportunities for travel from India to the world.
These flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 279 seats (30 in business, 21 in premium economy and 228 in economy class). Currently the airline operates flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Jean – Noel Rault, general manager of Indian sub-continent in Air France-KLM said, “We are delighted to be back in Chennai with the launch of direct services to Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Chennai will be our fourth gateway in India and the second in South India. This start emphasises the group’s commitment to further strengthen our presence in India.”
