Valiant Lady, the second cruise ship operated by Virgin Voyages, has completed her maiden season in the Mediterranean and is now headed for the United States. The vessel is expected to dock in Miami by the month’s end, just in time for her maiden Halloween voyage.
The popular Virgin Voyages ship Valiant Lady will soon be operating out of PortMiami, Florida, on a schedule of cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
This winter, cruisers will have two Virgin Voyages ships to select from. Valiant Lady, the second ship in Richard Branson’s cruise line, has sailed from her summer homeport of Barcelona and is on her way to Miami. Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady’s sister ship, is already departing from PortMiami.
After making her debut in March, Valiant Lady has spent the summer sailing across Europe. She embarked on a string of cruises from Barcelona to the most popular ports along the French Riviera, Italy, and Spain.
The two ships sailing out of Miami this winter have a dedicated port, Terminal V, explicitly designed for them by Virgin Voyages. The 132,000-square-foot, ultra-modern cruise port will be used by Scarlet Lady all year and by Valiant Lady during the colder months. This summer, Valiant Lady will sail again to the Mediterranean.
On October 30, Valiant Lady will finally sail from PortMiami for the first time in North America on a Halloween-themed cruise. The adults-only cruise will visit ports all around the Caribbean while hosting a variety of Halloween-themed parties and activities on board.
The trip stops in Roatan in Honduras, Costa Maya in Mexico, and Bimini Island in the Bahamas for a day at the beach.
When the Valiant Lady finally docks in PortMiami, passengers will be able to embark on a series of Caribbean cruises lasting between four and eight days.
Multiple Eastern Caribbean cruises are available, a four-night trip to Key West and the Bahamas, an eight-night cruise to Puerto Plata, San Juan, St. Croix, and Bimini, and more.
