Le Sereno reopens its doors on 27 October for the 2022/2023 season.
Located in an intimate, breezy cove within the pristine Grand Cul de Sac natural reserve, Le Sereno reintroduces its singular brand of chic, contemporary spirit with first-to-market experiences and programming. The stunning resort, leading the culinary scene in St. Barths with its acclaimed Ristorante Al Mare, will develop new culinary delights as well as opportunities for guests to fully immerse in nature through art and exploration programming.
Ristorante Al Mare
Named one of ‘The Best Beach Clubs in the World for Summer 2022’ by Conde Nast Traveller, the restaurant offers a relaxed approach to fine dining serving up signature favourites like Linguine alle Vongole e Zeste di Limone inspired by the Lake Como sister property’s beloved pasta vongole and Spaghetti al Pistachio e Rapanelli Marinati. Unlike any other dining destination on the island, the setting brings a sense of tranquillity and connection to the natural environment, located just steps from the crystal-clear waters of the marine reserve. Ristorante Al Mare and Plage, designed by Christian Liaigre and Patricia Urquiola, boast an innovative wine and cocktail program including inventive favourites such as the To Be or Not to Be with Bombay Sapphire, lemon, Campari, and mint and the Carry On cocktail with Plantation 3 Stars Rum, spicy strawberry, coconut, maracuja and lime.
Additionally, new to the 2022 season, Le Sereno will be launching its very first signature Negroni menu offering a creative twist on the beloved Italian drink such as a Negroni White with vanilla, Negroni Fermentato with fermented raspberry and Negroni Sensa Spirito, the resort mixologist’s recreation of the classic negroni taste and color without alcohol. Each cocktail will be a unique offering highlighting the classic and timeless cocktail.
Chef Davide Mosca’s Italian cuisine is modern and elegant yet timeless, like Le Sereno. The restaurant offers an upscale beachside setting, serving signature dishes with emphasis on the island’s local fish, seafood, crudos, homemade pastas, and many shareable dishes, along with a deep respect for the seasonality of the ingredients. Chef Mosca has previously worked alongside some of the world’s most highly regarded chefs, including Mediterranean benchmarks such as the Capri Palace and il Pellicano. After working closely with Chef Raffaele Lenzi at Il Sereno, Chef Mosca took over Le Sereno’s Al Mare kitchen. It was here that he created dishes such as the Cucumber gazpacho, Mahi-mahi tartare, radishes, bittersweet onion, watermelon and croutons.
