The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Civil Aviation Authority, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of air transport with the Federal Republic of Russia. As per a news report in Muscat Daily.
The agreement, signed in Moscow, provides for Omani and Russian airliners operating as many as 14 weekly regular flights between the two countries. The MoU also provides for code sharing between each other’s airlines, besides various regulatory and operational aspects of air transport and civil aviation.
The signing ceremony was attended by Oman’s Ambassador to Russia and representatives of Oman Air and SalamAir.
