Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport has partnered with leading luxury guest cosmetics provider, VANITY GROUP to introduce a Vegetable Garden, supporting the launch of their SOAK Superfood Skincare Bulk Amenities across the hotel.
The vegetable patch and bulk amenities are part of the hotel’s commitment to make a positive difference for people, communities, and the planet over the next decade. Guided by IHG’s purpose to provide True Hospitality for Good, Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport will work with partners to help shape the future of responsible travel.
As Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport embarks on their Journey to Tomorrow, VANITY GROUP has assisted the hotel in achieving their sustainability goals by supporting the rollout of SOAK Superfood Skincare large format 500ml bottles throughout the property – replacing single-use amenities and reducing plastic waste.
To celebrate, VANITY GROUP has sponsored the installation of a vegetable garden on the hotel grounds, inspired by the nutrient rich ingredients within the SOAK Superfood Hotel Collection. The vegetable garden will support the hotel’s efforts to reduce food waste and provide fresh produce for guests. The vegetables and herbs harvested from the garden will be used in the hotel’s onsite restaurant and bar, offering guests a truly farm-to-table dining experience.
“We are thrilled to partner with VANITY GROUP to introduce our vegetable garden as part of our IHG Journey to Tomorrow,” said Nick Henderson, General Manager at Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport. “We are committed to providing our guests with sustainable and responsible travel options, and the vegetable garden and bulk amenities are a great way for us to reduce waste and provide fresh produce for our guests. This is just the beginning of our Journey to Tomorrow.”
“We love that hotel guests will be reaping the benefits of Kale from their SOAK Superfood Skincare Purple Kale Shampoo in the bathroom, all the way down to the Kale harvested in the vegetable garden,” said Naomi Rheinberger, Global Marketing & Communications Director at VANITY GROUP. “We love aligning with partners like Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport who share in our mission of doing good for the planet and its people, and creating unforgettable guest experiences along the way.”
