Between them, Asia and the Middle East fill nine out of ten places on OAG’s list of Busiest International Flight Routes for June 2023. Notably, the Kuala Lumpur to Singapore Changi route has moved to the top spot on the list with 417,982 seats in June, replacing Cairo-Jeddah which moves to second place.
Seoul Incheon features in two routes, though both have moved down the list since May. Incheon to Osaka has moved three places, from 3rd to 6th and Incheon to Tokyo has gone down from 4th to 5th.
The Incheon to Bangkok route has dropped out of the top ten, replaced by Bangkok-Hong Kong in tenth position.
The only route outside of Asia and the Middle East in the Top Ten Busiest International Flight Routes of June 2023 is New York JFK – London Heathrow, in 8th position with 334,560 seats.
