Kuo Chenling, director of ERV-NSAA, shared the specifics of the new “Hualien Liushishi Mountain – Bicycle Tour of the Orange Daylily Fields” half-day event. The journey starts at the Yuli railway station in Hualien, with a shuttle bus taking visitors up to the picturesque orange daylily fields at Liushishi Mountain. Escorted by professional cycling guides, tour participants will embark on an exploration of the vibrant fields on electric bicycles, immersing themselves in the serene environment and gentle breeze. The carefully planned tour features a gentle, slope-free route leading to the Yellow Flower Pavilion that overlooks the orange daylily fields, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for first-time e-bike riders. Upon arrival at the viewpoint, visitors will be greeted by the romantic sight of expansive golden daylily fields covering the mountain. Time permitting, they may also witness the breathtaking spectacle of crepuscular rays piercing through the clouds – a classic scene at Liushishi Mountain. The tour, accommodating groups of 20-30, is available until the end of September for a discounted price of NT$590 (weekdays) and NT$790 (weekends and holidays) per person (original price: NT$1,090).
