IndiGo now connects Itanagar, with three metropolitan hubs, including Mumbai, Kolkata, and now Delhi. In recent years, IndiGo has made concerted efforts to enhance accessibility in the Northeast India region, successfully connecting with seven out of the eight states in this diverse landscape. On November 28, 2022, IndiGo marked a significant milestone by launching operations at Donyi Polo Airport in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Donyi Polo Airport, inaugurated nearly a year ago in Itanagar, stands just 15 kilometers from the state capital.
