The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust (ABTOT) has added to its membership support team as new bonding services are introduced.
The appointment of a new Membership Secretary, Samantha Bradbury has been made, giving the association additional support to prepare members ahead of anticipated changes to the PTRs and the introduction of the Travel Protection Bill.
Following ABTOT’s introduction of a total protection service covering licensable and non-licensable travel (flight-inclusive and non-flight travel) as well as a card payment service, Bradbury’s appointment brings support to members looking to take advantage of the new services.
She has over twenty years’ experience in the insurance and legal industry and a degree in English Law, French Law and French Language.
As Membership Secretary Bradbury will manage the needs of the current membership as well as assisting Natalie Black, ABTOT development manager, in growing membership and promoting the association within the travel industry.
Richard Watson, chief operating officer, ABTOT said: “Samantha’s understanding of the industry and challenges that new and existing travel organisers face is invaluable to us as we prepare for significant changes to the PTRs. With the new Package Travel Regulations nearly upon us it is essential that travel organisers start planning any appropriate changes to their business models to align with the new requirements. Samantha will be a helpful point of contact for ABTOT members during what could be a challenging time for some.”
