“民宅共享服务提供商”Airbnb本周三对《中国日报》表示，正在与中国短租平台小猪网商谈在日本和韩国等市场上的合作。
报道显示，小猪网CEO陈驰在星期三接受媒体采访时表示，与Airbnb的合作也可能涉及中国，但目前谈判还处在初期阶段。
Airbnb发言人尼克·帕帕斯(Nick Papas)在一封电子邮件中告诉路透社，“这个故事是虚假的，没有进行过任何讨论。”
据悉，Airbnb在今年3月10日被曝出完成了新一轮逾10亿美元的融资，总估值高达310亿美元。同时，Airbnb在3月22日正式推出了中文“爱彼迎”，其联合创始人兼CEO布莱恩·切斯基还表示，中国市场将是Airbnb的重点市场。
《中国日报》称，小猪短租在中国拥有15万套房源，去年11月在新一轮融资中筹集了6500万美元资金。
