今年夏天，阿联酋航空将首次抵达柬埔寨，新增飞往金边的航线。
2017年7月1日，新航线将开始每日运营，为旅客提供一个从欧洲和中东前往柬埔寨旅行的新方式。金边将和仰光一起作为东南亚新航线的一部分。
始发航班EK388将于09:15从迪拜出发，并于17:25抵达仰光。接下来，该航班将于18:55从仰光出发，并于21:25抵达金边。出发航班时间将使得来自巴黎、伦敦、法兰克福的旅客们可以中转乘坐本航班前往东南亚。返程航班EK389， 将于23:10从金边出发，并于次日05:40返回迪拜，包括中间将经停仰光。
新航班也让阿联酋航空成为首个提供全年直飞往返仰光－金边航线的航空公司。
阿联酋航空将使用两舱布局的波音777-300ER客机执飞该航线，同时在经济舱提供35千克的行李限额。
