ANA Future Frontier Fund LP, the corporate venture capital fund of ANA Holdings Inc, announced its investment in Tokyo-based artificial intelligence (AI) research firm Sakana AI KK on Tuesday, 5th November.

This particular AI research firm uses nature-inspired intelligence to develop foundation models.

This investment aims to accelerate discussions and explore business collaboration with Sakana AI.

What does Sakana AI do?

Sakana AI brings together global AI experts to apply natural principles, such as evolution and collective intelligence, in the development of foundational models. 

To address the rising computational demands of large-scale generative AI model development, Sakana AI is creating innovative methods to enhance the efficiency, sophistication and automation of model development.
