ANA has unveiled the routes to be operated by its latest Star Wars-themed aircraft – a Boeing 777-200 with a C-3PO livery.
The aircraft will initially be deployed on the Japanese airline’s domestic routes in July and August 2017, starting with an inaugural flight from Tokyo Haneda to Kagoshima. Other routes will include Haneda-Osaka Itami and Haneda-Fukuoka.
As well as the external C-3PO livery, the aircraft features a themed interior cabin, including paper cups and headrest covers with a C-3PO design, and flight attendants wearing Star Wars-themed aprons.
Passengers onboard these flights will also receive a special boarding certificate.
This marks the latest part of a collaboration between ANA and Disney, which has already seen the launch of aircraft based on R2-D2 and BB-8.
