Best Western Hotels & Resorts has launched a new hotel in the heart of Osaka, Japan’s second largest city, commercial centre and culinary capital.
Positioned in the city’s Chuo-ku ward, Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Osaka Kitahama is surrounded by many major business and leisure attractions. It’s a one-minute walk from Kitahama Station, connecting guests to the city and beyond via the Osaka Subway and Keihan Main Line.
A major commercial and industrial hub, Osaka is home to multinational companies including Panasonic, Sharp and Daihatsu. Moreover, it holds cultural landmarks such as the Osaka Castle, and the bright lights of Dotonbori, the city’s popular entertainment area.
The new upper-midscale hotel becomes Best Western’s 19th property in Japan.
“We will continue to bring high-quality accommodation”
Olivier Berrivin, Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ managing director of International Operations – Asia, commented: “Best Western now operates almost 20 hotels in Japan, including four locations in Osaka alone. As visitor numbers to Japan continue to rise and the country prepares to host major global events such as the 2019 Rugby World Cup, 2020 Olympic Games and 2025 World Expo, we will continue to bring high-quality accommodation to guests in destinations across the country.”
Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Osaka Kitahama features 129 rooms and will offer Japanese and international cuisine at the onsite restaurant. Furthermore, a fitness centre and laundry services are also available within the hotel.
“The heart of the thriving Kansai region”
Olivier added: “As Japan’s second largest metropolis and the heart of the thriving Kansai region, Osaka is a key market for business travel and an enticing destination for leisure visitors. This smart and stylish property will serve all guests with a range of international facilities and Best Western’s famously warm and friendly service.”
Japan is now home to 19 Best Western-branded properties, ranging from urban hotels to beach resorts and airport hotels. In Osaka, Best Western now operates four properties under three of its brands: Best Western, Best Western Plus and SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western.
