Flight Centre Travel Group and Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS) have extended their longstanding partnership to bring UK rail content to Corporate Traveller’s leading Melon platform, the ultimate solution for managing business travel programmes.
Both rail bookings and post-sales servicing are now available to customers using Melon, providing a one-stop shop for domestic rail travel in addition to the flights, car rental and hotel services already available on the platform.
The expanded offering has been delivered through Melon’s connection to TPS’ Global API, which will enable further integration of additional features and international rail content in future.
Donna Joines, Head of Corporate Traveller UK, comments:“We are thrilled to have elevated our collaboration with Trainline Partner Solutions. By integrating UK rail content through Melon, we’re truly enhancing our customer experience.
“At Corporate Traveller, we pride ourselves on providing the latest in tech innovations alongside a dedicated personal customer experience, our blended approach is what really sets us apart. Our partnership means the continuation of ensuring seamless and efficient journeys for every traveller.
“It also allows our customers the beauty of choice. With this upgrade, they can compare different train options side by side, including prices, travel times, and available amenities. This transparency empowers them to make well-informed decisions based on their preferences and budgets.
“Melon itself gives customers everything they need on one easy-to-use digital platform. That means one sign-in, one dashboard, and one place to book your entire trip. It allows you to view reports, manage spend, update your policy, and provides key integrations with leading HR platforms.”
Andrew Cruttenden, General Manager at Trainline Partner Solutions, said: “We’re delighted to be supplying simple, integrated access to UK rail services to Corporate Traveller’s customers. Interest in rail is growing across the business travel sector, particularly as awareness of business travel’s carbon footprint increases, so our tech plays a key role in offering travellers a wider choice as well as easy access via existing travel platforms.”
