Emirates to fly to Kuwait and Bahrain with the Airbus A350-900

With a second Airbus A350 on its way to Emirates, has decided to expand the sphere of the types of operation, with two Middle-Eastern routes to use the equipment.

Emirates is bringing forward the deployment of its Airbus A350 to Kuwait and Bahrain.

Services will start 8th of January, making them the second and third destinations to be served by the airline’s newest aircraft.

Emirates will operate its Airbus A350 on the following services to Kuwait and Bahrain:

  • Kuwait: The Emirates A350 will operate on EK853 and EK854. EK 853 departs Dubai at 01:25, arriving in Kuwait at 02:15. The return flight, EK 854 leaves Kuwait at 03:40hrs, arriving in Dubai at 06:25hrs.
  • Bahrain: The Emirates A350 will operate on two of the three daily flights to the Kingdom – EK837/838, and EK839/840. EK 837 departs Dubai at 08:20, arriving in Bahrain at 08:40. The return flight, EK 838, departs Bahrain at 10:00, arriving back in Dubai at 12:15h. The second flight operated by the Airbus A350, EK 839, takes off at 16:00, arriving in Bahrain at 16:20. EK 840 leaves Bahrain at 17:45, arriving back to Dubai at 20:00.

Emirates Airbus A350-900s operate in a three-class configuration, 32 Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 configuration, and 259 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 arrangement, for a total of 312 seats.

The aircraft features next-generation passenger experience facilities with Thales Avant Up installed to provide Inflight entertainment, whilst inflight wifi is enabled with ViaSat’s Global Express Ka connectivity.

Emirates offers 29 flights a week to Kuwait and 22 to Bahrain, using a mixture of Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A350-900, so passengers have a lot of choices for connectivity.
