Hotel barge operator, European Waterways, has announced a reward for small group travellers with early booking discounts, up to 10% off on whole-boat charter prices booked before 14 September 2018.

“Coordinating everyone’s holiday is probably one of the biggest challenges to families and groups,” said Derek Banks, managing director of European Waterways.

“Advanced booking provides guests with greater flexibility on departure dates and in designing the itinerary. We can tailor their excursions to include more activities that better reflect the interests and passions of their party. For example, we can organize more family-friendly outings, or culinary explorations, extra tee times for golfers, or walking and cycling tours for the active travellers.”

Holland’s tulip season

Onboard the 12-passenger Panache, the cruise departs on March 2019 to offer a trip to Holland as the country begins its tulip season. In addition to departures in Holland, Panache is offering 10% off whole-boat charter prices on select departures in the Alsace and Lorraine region, which the vessel cruises later in the season.

Prices for full barge charters start at GBP 40,410 (USD 51,400).

French Odyssey

On April and May 2019, the 8-passenger Rosa hotel barge will cruise the Gascony and Bordeaux regions of Southern France, with excursions that include wine tastings, tours of medieval towns, chateaux, and village markets.

Whole-boat charter prices start at GBP 20,430.

Venetian cruise

This Venitian cruise will take guests onboard European Waterways’ largest vessel, the 20-passenger La Bella Vita. The itinerary includes cruises on the Venetian Lagoon, River Po and Canal Bianco between Venice and the Renaissance city of Mantua. Guests will be immersed in a “voyage of discovery” that encompasses the Renaissance, Roman, Etruscan, and Byzantine cultures.

Prices start at GBP 45,810. Departure dates include March, April and May 2019.
