Frasers Hospitality teams up with Club Rainbow for CSR initiatives

Frasers Hospitality partnered with children’s non-profit health organisation Club Rainbow on a sustained effort to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

Over its year-long engagement, Frasers Hospitality championed several initiatives in support of Club Rainbow and its beneficiaries, including a donation drive, fundraising walks, sponsorship of an arts mentorship programme, and the hosting of a craft workshop and movie screening event for the beneficiaries and their families.

According to Frasers Hospitality chief executive Eu Chin Fen, social responsibility has long been a part of the company’s DNA as it recognises the significance of giving back to its host communities.

Eu said: “Beyond providing financial support, we remain committed to channel time and resources to lead life-enriching initiatives in support of the children and their families. By forging a meaningful collaboration with Club Rainbow, we endeavour to create a supportive and purposeful workplace for our employees while building long-term, sustainable value for the beneficiaries.”

Making a September to remember

A team bonding event is slated for early September 2024 where over 50 staff members can volunteer their time and engage 20 beneficiaries from Club Rainbow through a punch needle craft workshop where employees and the beneficiaries will have the opportunity to learn the art of punch needle embroidery.

In late September, Frasers Hospitality will host 20 Club Rainbow beneficiaries and their caregivers, along with Fraser Hospitality’s guests, employees and their families to a movie screening event. This event will provide an opportunity to share an immersive sensorial experience for all attendees to connect and interact with the Club Rainbow community.

Frasers Hospitality is also supporting Club Rainbow in their educational initiative through the sponsorship of their Arts Development Programme which is dedicated to supporting children and youth with chronic illnesses by nurturing their talents in various artistic disciplines.

As part of this initiative which will commence in early September 2024, two selected children will be participating in an arts mentorship programme which will provide them with the opportunity to receive guidance from Club Rainbow’s long-term arts mentor to further hone their skills.
