很多人喜欢在飞行时喝点小酒放松心情，不过在高空环境及气压的影响下，难免影响了味觉上的享受。对此，国泰航空与香港啤酒合作，研发了首支专为飞行而创制的樽装啤酒Betsy Beer，让乘客在35,000呎高空可享受手工啤酒的滋味。
国泰特别把新推出的品牌啤酒，以其首架投入服务并于40及50年代运作区内航线的DC-3型号客机“Betsy”命名。
Betsy Beer将于2017年3月1日至4月30日期间，率先于来回香港及英国（包括伦敦希斯路机场、伦敦盖特威克机场及曼彻斯特机场）的头等及商务客舱上供应。
