The Inspiring Travel Company – formerly ITC Luxury Travel – in partnership with Barbados Tourist Board, has recently returned from a trip showcasing its original and highest-selling destination to a group of six travel agents.
The group flew to Barbados with British Airways, spending two nights at the Sandpiper Hotel with host David Pollard and three nights at Colony Club Hotel, hosted by Glynis Jeffrey.
Over the course of their trip, they visited several other hotels, enjoying lunch at Sandy Lane, afternoon tea at The House Hotel and views from the rooftop top pool at Oceans Two.
Other highlights included rum tasting at St Nicholas Abbey and a ‘Paint and Groove’ class, where the agents channelled their creativity onto canvas.
The trip was accompanied by Elaine Jones, ITC Travel Group’s national relationship manager for the South & South West and Cheryl Carter of Barbados Tourist Board, and the group also visited ITC’s Barbados office at Limegrove-Holetown to gain some local insight from Kerin Austin, ITC Travel Group’s destination manager for Barbados.
The agents on the trip were Joan Riddell of Kenneth Macleod Travel, Hannah Moss of Travel Stop, Liz King of Bespoke Travel, Jackie Smith of Jimmy Martin Travel, Debbie Russell Taylor of Holidays Please and Megan Williams of Miles Morgan Travel.
