据金边邮报报道，该省的旅游官员表示，2016年，超过240万人次旅客前往了西哈努克省旅游，同比增长37%。
国际旅客到达人数增长了12%至404，939人次，由来自中国、俄罗斯、越南的旅客领衔，国内旅客到达人数增长了45%至197万人次。
“旅客到达人数一直在增长，因为我们不断提高的娱乐服务基础和美丽的海滩，虽然旅游产品仍相对较为有限，”May Nimol，该省的市场推广副总裁向记者表示。
“我们正试着和相关的机构合作，来提倡并改善娱乐服务水平，努力吸引更多游客前来旅游。”
