Marriott International announced that Marriott veteran, Neal Jones, has taken on the role of chief sales and marketing officer in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as part of the company’s EMEA leadership team led by Liam Brown, group president in EMEA. Jones began his career at Marriott in London over 20 years ago and has most recently served as chief sales and marketing officer for Middle East and Africa based in Dubai.

Liam Brown said: “Neal is an engaging leader with a wealth of commercial knowledge. In this new role, he will be instrumental in driving demand into Marriott International’s diverse portfolio of brands, expanding the reach of our travel programme, Marriott Bonvoy, and developing innovative strategies to further enhance the customer experience across the EMEA region.”

A UK national, Jones graduated from the Hotel School The Hague in The Netherlands and is currently based in Marriott International‘s Dubai regional office. He will relocate to the group’s London headquarters in 2020.
