Redefining business and luxury travel, Qatar Airways’ Qsuite is now available on flights to and from Canberra via Sydney and will soon be offered in destinations all over the world.
After the launch of its Canberra route back in February this year, Qatar Airways has made a ‘fully customisable’ upgrade to its international flights with the announcement of the Qsuite offering on its latest Australian destination. The Doha to Canberra flight makes one stop in Sydney, bringing passengers a taste of its business and luxury brand from the Qatari hub.
Initially, the route served by Qsuite will be up to four times a week, until its daily full-service beginning on 1 August 2018.
“With Qsuite, we have truly redefined business and luxury travel”
Qatar Airways’ group chief executive, H.E. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Since its launch, Qsuite has received tremendous attention globally, and we are delighted to introduce this revolutionary product on our Canberra and Sydney routes. With Qsuite, we have truly redefined business and luxury travel, and we are certain that the highly-adaptable and personalised product will be a much-welcome addition for Australian travellers.”
Qsuite features the first-ever double bed available in business class, as well as private cabins for up to four people with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room. Adjustable panels and movable TV monitors allow passengers to transform their space into a private suite. These features provide a ‘customisable travel experience’ which the airline takes pride of.
Qsuite is currently available on select Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000 aircraft. And soon after its launch in Canberra, the product will also be introduced in London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Houston and Shanghai.
Qatar Airways continues to expand in Australia with now 4,376 seats daily, to and from five Australian gateways. H.E. Akbar Al Baker added: “As we continue to grow in Australia, we are glad to also be contributing to the market by providing greater consumer choice with our award-winning cabins and services, and increased accessibility to global markets for businesses with our robust global network of more than 150 destinations.”
