Business magnate, stock trader, chartered accountant and investor with the midas touch Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passed away at the age of 62. Sources said he was brought dead to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at 6.45 am. The vetran investor had multiple health issues.
He is ranked the 36th richest man in India, with a net worth of $5.8 billion, at the end of the FY23 June quarter.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala recently ventured into the aviation industry with Akasa Air which took flight on 7 August, 2022. Jhunjhunwala, apart from being an investor, was the chairman of Aptech Limited and Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. He was also among the directors of several Indian firms.
