Regent Seven Seas Cruises enhances several Alaska journeys in 2025

Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers modern-day adventurers a glorious way to experience Alaska, North America’s last frontier, with a six-night pre-cruise land programme.

The optional experience includes two days aboard the famed Rocky Mountaineer for a limited number of passengers.

This expanded Alaskan experience begins in May 2025

Luxury on land and sea

Considered the most luxurious adventure on land and sea, the journey begins aboard the Rocky Mountaineer as guests enjoy two days of all-inclusive GoldLeaf Service, traversing the majestic landscape from Banff to Vancouver.

The panoramic windows of the luxury bi-level, glass-dome coaches offer breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies, including dazzling turquoise lakes, and dramatic canyons. With impeccable GoldLeaf Service, guests will indulge in delectable regionally inspired cuisine prepared by executive chefs.

Once in Vancouver, guests will step on board Seven Seas Explorer, The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built, for a seven-night all-inclusive voyage, sailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Seward, Alaska.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises president Andrea De Marco said of the offer: “A sailing with Regent Seven Seas Cruises is a journey like no other, and the world-renowned Rocky Mountaineer experience is the perfect complement to our destination-immersive adventures in Alaska.”

De Marco added that the cruise line’s  goal is to craft truly unforgettable moments for guests, particularly through Regent’s unique included and unlimited shore excursions. These offer unrivalled opportunities for exploration, from gliding past majestic glaciers to spotting magnificent humpback whales in their natural habitat.

What can passengers expect?

The six-night land programme will journey from Calgary to Vancouver, allowing travellers to explore the stunning Canadian Rockies including the alpine mountain town of Banff.

This unique experience includes a full-day tour of Yoho National Park, where guests can discover powerful waterfalls, emerald lakes and national heritage sites, plus an opportunity to discover picturesque Banff, in addition to transfers and hotel accommodation.

Aboard the Seven Seas Explorer, adventurous luxury travellers will enjoy unrivalled space at sea, sumptuous all-suite accommodation, and exceptional personalised service, travellers will cruise the renowned Inside Passage, taking in the spectacular natural beauty.

Cruising north, culture seekers, history buffs, and nature lovers will relish the opportunity to deep dive into ports of call with Regent’s unique offer of included and unlimited shore excursions from discovering indigenous cultures in Ketchikan and uncovering the Gold Rush in Skagway to humpback whale watching in Juneau and facing the magnificent Hubbard Glacier.
