Sheraton Hotels & Resorts recently opened the Sheraton Lanzhou Anning in Lanzhou, the capital city of China’s Gansu province.

This hotel is also Sheraton’s 100th property in Greater China, a milestone in its 50-year-long history in the country.

Sheraton vice-president for marketing, communications, premium, and select brands in Greater China Betty Tian said: “We are delighted to welcome the 100th hotel for Sheraton brand in China in Lanzhou of Gansu province. Over the past 50 years of involvement with China’s tourism industry, Sheraton has come to symbolise premium hotel brands in the country.” 

Tian also pointed out how Sheraton’s current vision for transformation aims to introduce the brand spirit of ‘The World’s Gathering Place’ to more travel destinations favoured by guests.

She added that, in the future, Sheraton will continue to focus on guests and innovations in order to enhance its brand vitality.

A new addition to a dynamic district

Located in Anning, the heart of Lanzhou’s busy industrial and educational centre, the Sheraton Lanzhou Anning is a welcome addition to the scenic skyline on the banks of the Yellow River. 

The hotel is around  55 kilometres from Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport and about six kilometres from Lanzhou West Railway Station. This makes it easy for guests to visit historical and cultural attractions such as the Gansu Provincial Museum and the Zhongshan Bridge during their stay.

Sheraton executives hope that Lanzhou’s new hotel will provide an ideal gathering place for guests from around the world with the brand’s signature features and experiences, diverse dining options, and impeccable services.
