A new shuttle bus service is being launched connecting Singapore’s Changi Airport with the city’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT).
The initiative is aimed at improving connectivity to the Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan, via Changi airport.
Starting from today, passengers can board shuttle buses at TMFT or Terminal 2 at Changi Airport. Eight return services will run every weekday, rising to 10 per day on weekends. One-way trips are priced at SG$2 (US$1.40).
TMFT serves passengers travelling across the Malacca Strait to Bintan and Batam, where many resorts and golf courses are located. A new ferry route to Batam’s Harbour Bay terminal is expected to launch next month.
