IndiGoReach, IndiGo’s CSR initiative, has partnered with the Airports Authority of India and AAS Foundation, Indore, to launch the Zero Waste Airport Project.

SITA secured a landmark deal with Airports Authority of India to support one of the biggest growth markets globally, providing technology to 43 of India’s biggest airports. 

In a major boost to the proposed Sabarimala International Greenfield Airport in Erumeli, the state government has issued a modified order sanctioning land acquisition for the project.

In a ceremony attended by senior ministers of the Union and Madhya Pradesh government, Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for the development of a new terminal of Gwalior airport.

Finally, the two states Punjab and Haryana have agreed to name Chandigarh international airport after Bhagat Singh.

India is resuming domestic commercial flights from today as part of a continuing relaxation of its lockdown to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.
