Road travel time between metros in Tier I and Tier II needs to be reduced in order to promote more essential travel and offer alternate modes which are comparable with travel time on trains.
Inter-city mobility to improve further in 2023
The year 2022 saw a significant rise in inter-city travel across the country. Alongside, it was also seen that the travellers on more than 100 routes preferred inter-city buses over other modes available.
