IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, announces the addition of IndiGoStretch  on its Delhi-Bengaluru route, with operations commencing on January 10, 2025.

Shortage of engines and spare parts has forced IndiGo to ground more than 30 aircraft, or around 11% of its fleet, the company said.

IndiGo flew its Airbus A320 aircraft to Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT) from Mumbai on 22 September. Not only is it the carrier’s 100th destination, but also its 11th in the Middle East. The flight was announced last month and is part of IndiGo’s growing presence in the Middle East.
