Royal Jordanian’s Board of Directors approved the company’s financial results for the first half of 2024, reflecting an improvement in the company’s operational performance indicators.

RJ held its ordinary Annual General Meeting virtually on April 29, 2024. The meeting chaired by RJ’s Board of Directors Chairman Said Darwazeh; was attended by Vice Chairman/CEO Samer Majali, RJ board members, Companies’ General Controller Deputy, representatives of the Government Investments Management Company, RJ accounts auditor Ernst and Young and some shareholders and RJ employees. 

Royal Jordanian will inaugurate two new, non-stop services in the UK; to London Stansted effective Mar. 3, 2024, with three weekly flights, and Manchester on Mar. 6, 2024, with two weekly flights.

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al-Hussein, the first two Embraer E195-E2, out of the planned eight such aircraft, joined the RJ fleet to serve the short- and medium-range routes.

Dec. 15, RJ marks its 60th anniversary. It is the date when it was launched by His Majesty King Hussein, in 1963. Since then, RJ has been an ambassador of goodwill and friendship to other cultures.
