The City of Pittsburgh and VisitPITTSBURGH today announced Pittsburgh’s designation as a World Festival & Event City by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), a premier association supporting and enabling festival and event professionals worldwide.

From Sunday 30 March 2025, the vibrant city of Pittsburgh in Western Pennsylvania will be even more accessible to holidaymakers from the UK as British Airways’ direct flight from London Heathrow (LHR) to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) goes daily.

The NFL announced that the 2026 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light will take place in Pittsburgh, incorporating elements of iconic Point State Park as well as Acrisure Stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
