据悉，泰国将在2017年创造旅游营收新纪录。
泰国旅游局（TAT）悉尼区主任Rujiras Chatchalermkit表示，泰国预计将从2016年全年旅游营收460亿美元的基础上，进一步在2017年创造更大的纪录，因为2016年比2015年增长约12%，所以这一趋势将延续。
Rujiras主任表示，“我们的市场推广活动将继续着重在打造身临其境的体验上。泰国旅游局希望能够将泰国在人们心中的便宜旅游国家的形象转变成高端旅游目的地。这一转变的重点将在吸引高质量的旅客上，并将从简单的希望吸引更多的旅客转向目标更多的旅游营收。”
泰国2017年的旅游营收目标将在本月得到一个很好的推动，因为泰国旅游节（TTF）正在曼谷举办。这一活动的时间正值中国农历新年，预计这一期间将吸引65万旅客，并将在1月25日至1月29日期间为泰国带来越4亿泰铢（约合1120万美元）的旅游营收。
