近日，泰国政府公布了计划，将在未来几年内对其境内的四座机场进行翻新和升级。
据曼谷邮报报道，泰国机场管理局将投资约240亿泰铢在甲米、董里、和泰南的洛坤府升级机场，以及位于泰国北部的孔敬机场。
在计划下，甲米国际机场现有的年4百万人次旅客接到能力将提升，因为预计将在接下来几年内迎来成倍增长的客流量。同时，洛坤府的机场运力将从每年110万人次增加到每年300至400万人次。
目前，关于董里府机场的的扩张计划还未公布，孔敬府每年2百万人次的运力也将得到提升。
该工程预计将于2018年财年开始进行。
