The Prince Akatoki London: “A unique kind of Japanese hospitality”

The Prince Akatoki London

After completing a multi-million-pound transformation this year, The Prince Akatoki London has re-opened its doors, welcoming guests with a new ethos focused on providing genuine care. Service is what sets the hotel apart, offering the best of Japanese hospitality and culture with attention to detail and a sense of mindfulness when caring for guests.

“Japanese hospitality is not done out of a sense of obligation”

Ray Goertz, General Manager, The Prince Akatoki London, said: “Our service is built around the concept of a unique kind of Japanese hospitality, we like to think of it as service from the heart. It means anticipating a guest’s needs – whether it’s taking their bags up to the room without asking or going above and beyond to celebrate a special occasion.

“Importantly, Japanese hospitality is not done out of a sense of obligation, but from genuine care for people. Taking away the madness and fast pace of the city and entering calm to rest and revive.”

Inspired by Japan, all of the hotel’s 82 rooms and suites have received a full transformation alongside
the hotel’s lobby, public areas and food and beverage outlets. The Prince Akatoki London is now inviting guests to rejuvenate and relax amongst its light and minimalist interiors, promoting mindfulness and tranquillity, the Japanese way.

“Everything is done with careful attention to detail”

Goertz added: “Japanese hospitality is renowned for attention to every detail. Everything is done with careful attention to detail – creating an intricate meal, presenting impeccable rooms and adding a small, personal touch for our guests – experiencing calm and tranquillity – like taking a deep breath and washing away the day.”
