Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort, Koh Samui introduces new General Manager Francois Poletti who brings his European style to the luxury resort on Koh Samui
Francois Poletti has been appointed General Manager of Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort, Koh Samui, effective from February 2022.
A French native, he spent his childhood on the island of Corsica and graduated in hospitality management from Lycée hôtelier Paul Augier. Francois’ career in luxury hospitality was honed through working with three different Relais & Chateaux properties, in St Barth, French Polynesia, and Phuket, in the latter advancing his career to the position of food and beverage director with The Pavilions, Phuket.
“European luxury hospitality has a special and distinct quality that is rooted in age-old European culture and notions of service,” says Francois. “I am confident that with the warm and natural Thai hospitality of the Vana Belle Family, and the beauty of the resort and its setting, we can create a style here in Samui that will be wonderfully memorable for our guests.”
Francois joined Marriott International in 2013 as director of food and beverage at the Renaissance Tlemcen, Algeria. He then in 2016 joined the pre-opening team as director of operations at Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach, a position he has held since then.
