越南的旅游业正在蓬勃发展，并在2017年第一季度迎来了破纪录的旅客到达人次。
根据越南国家旅游局（VNAT）发布的最新数据显示，2017年首季度里，越南迎来的国际旅客到达人次为321万，比2016年一季度增长29%。
这一数字由来自其他亚洲国家的旅客增长拉动，主要是来自中国内地的旅客。2017年Q1，来自中国内地的旅客增长了63.5%至949，199万人次，大约占总旅客访问量的30％。韩国（＋29.2%至527，464）是越南的第二大国际旅客市场，接下来是日本旅客（＋4.8%至201，590），美国（＋9.1%至179，611）以及俄罗斯（＋61.3%至175，456）。
其中，通过空运抵达越南的旅客人数也增长了32.5%至263万人次，占总国际旅客到达人次的82%。
去年，越南总共迎来了1001万人次旅客，同比增幅26.0%。
