Jumeirah has announced the opening of its second Dubai hotel, bringing a loft-style vibe to the south banks of Dubai Creek, just next door to the earlier opened Zabeel House MINI.
Zabeel House by Jumeriah aims to be stylish and bold. It holds a reputation of being a not-so-average hotel with creative spaces, set in what the brand dubbed as ‘Dubai’s most eclectic district’.
Al Seef is a new district of about 90 restaurants and 350 retail outlets on the south banks of Dubai Creek. Created by Meraas – the company behind other tourist-friendly neighbourhoods across the city like Kite Beach, City Walk and The Walk at JBR – Al Seef is a booming area in the 1.2-mile stretch of the creek.
Located at the entrance to Al Seef, Zabeel House by Jumeirah is an ideal hub for travellers with Downtown Dubai, Dubai Mall and the beaches of Jumeirah just 15 minutes away.
Zabeel House by Jumeirah, Al Seef is the stylish older sibling of its next-door neighbour. As such, the lobby features a collection of contrasting art and design pieces and bookcases made for browsing.
It offers 200 rooms in 3 different sizes catering to solo travellers, couples or families. There’s also a destination restaurant that stretches out over the waters of Dubai Creek, and a rooftop bar and pool with views across both old and new Dubai.
Other features include five meeting rooms to keep business travellers busy. And for those simply looking to workout, or rejuvenate, there is an indoor gym, sauna, steam room and two treatment rooms.
For food and beverage choices, the hotel will soon house Skafos (opening after the summer), an al fresco restaurant reaching out over the waters of Dubai Creek. Seven floors above, the Sol Sky Bar beside the rooftop pool offers a cocktail menu to match the panoramic views of the city.
