LOTHAR NESSMANN has been appointed as Pan Pacific Hotels Group’ new CEO, following the departure of Bernold Schroeder. Nessmann has almost 30 years of hospitality experience in Asia and Europe, most recently spending 20 years with Shangri-La, including a spell as chief operating officer.

SCOTT DALECIO has been announced as the interim CEO of Outrigger Hotels & Resorts. Dalecio, who is the co-founder & CEO of KSL Resorts, moves into the role following his company’s acquisition of Outrigger. He replaced W. David P. Carey III, who moves into a position on the Outrigger board.

MAUD BAILLY has been named as AccorHotels’ new chief digital officer. Having started her career in 2007 at the Inspection Générale des Finances, she joined SNCF as director of Paris Montparnasse Station and deputy director of TGV in Paris. She then joined the French Prime Minister’s office in 2015.

JARED ANDERSON has been announced as Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s new vice president of customer experience. He joins the corporate travel company from Sears, where he spent the last 15 years in senior leadership roles, most recently as VP of customer experience insight & engagement.

GEORGE LIU has been appointed as Hong Kong Airlines’ new chief marketing officer. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the company, including 10 years as Boeing’s director of global brand & marketing, based in the US, and a previous spell as president of communications at Boeing China.

DIDIT ANTHONY has been named general manager of Aviary Bintaro, Sumampau Hotels & Resorts new-build hotel and serviced residence in Jakarta. An experienced travel industry executive, Anthony has previously worked for BW Hotels, Prasanthi Hotels & Resorts, AccorHotels and Pan Pacific.

ALETHEA LAM has been hired as Marriott International’s new vice president of communications for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Most recently she was director of corporate communications for Starwood Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, and she has also worked for Canadian Embassy in China.

ANGELA WILSON has become the first Sydney-based business development representative for Carnival Cruise Line’s international sailings, tasked with promoting the company’s fleet of 25 ships among Australian travel agents and wholesalers. Ms Wilson previously worked at Expedia.
