Latin Routes has concluded it South America travel agent roadshow. 

The event was themed around a summer BBQ and took place at three rooftop bar venues in Manchester, Birmingham and London.

Across the roadshow more than 150 travel agents enjoyed fun and informative training, including a marketplace where agents met directly with a selection of Latin Routes’ suppliers.

Each evening finished with a prize draw, with agents winning a variety of prizes, including an 8-night holiday to Chile and free room nights at luxury hotels in South America.

At the Sky Bar, Grange Hotel, London event, head of trade relations and co-founder of Latin Routes, Jessica Bain, announced two agent fam trips in October 2017.

The first fam trip, co-sponsored by TAP Portugal, will see agents discover the sights of Brazil including Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, Amazon Rainforest and the beaches of Buzios.

The second, co-sponsored by national airline Aerolineas Argentinas, will see agents travel to the stunning region of Patagonia in Argentina, starting in Buenos Aires and travelling on to Bariloche and El Calafate.

Each fam trip has 10 spaces available, some of which can be won through a competition Latin Routes is running later in the year, in conjunction with  Online Travel Training (OTT).

Jessica Bain said: “The roadshow has been a fantastic showcase designed to educate agents on how to sell South America, but we understand there is nothing better than going yourself. That’s why we are so excited to announce our two fam trips for 2017, which we hope demonstrates our commitment to sending as many agents to South America as possible. Including the prize winners from our roadshows, over 30 agents will have the opportunity to travel to South America with us in 2017.”

The roadshow events took place in Manchester, Birmingham and London on the following dates:

Tuesday 4 July 6pm: Rooftop of Great John Street Hotel, Manchester

Wednesday 5 July 6pm: Terrace of Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham

Monday 10 July 6pm: Sky Bar, Grange Hotel, Holborn, London
