Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) was chosen by the Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) to be the pilot carrier for a biometric check-in at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

THAI daily flight TG409 (Bangkok- Singapore) is the trial flight for the biometric check-in from now until 30 April 2023 at Counter no. D9 – D12 or common use self-service kiosks no. 63-64 and common use bag drop counter no. E14 at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

With passenger consent, this trial project implemented biometric technology to reduce check-in duration of passengers as their biometric data is connected through the Passenger Validation System at passengers’ document verification checkpoint (prior to security checkpoint area) and at boarding gate.

THAI and concerned stakeholders will evaluate the outcome of this trial project to achieve mutual optimum benefits among all stakeholders.
